FABRIC DESCRIPTION - BROCADE
Brocade fabrics are a type of shuttle-woven fabric made with metallic threads to give a lustrous appearance.
They are highly decorative in appearance and most popularly worn for special occasions or for Liturgical ceremonies.
Brocade fabrics are easily distinguished by their regal look. A supplementary weft creates an embossed or embroidered effect.
Here the fabric follows the pattern of an enlarged circle of diameter 17 cm with a centered cross of about 8.5 cm
They are available in 3 Liturgical colors : Violet, Green, Red
- Can be bought together in set of three colors.
Thanks for delivering the order in time. The fabric colour is beautiful and so is the pattern/design. I have not used the fabric yet for a chasuble, stole, chalice veil and burse but I am hoping it lends itself easily to sewing. My only concern is whether the fabric runs if it needs to be washed. Any experiences please advise.
