The Mitre is a traditional, ceremonial headdress of bishops and certain abbots. The shape of the mitre represents the tongues of fire rested on the head of the disciples.
I'm reviewing only the item I ordered, the shipping time wasn't as expected, but that isn't the shops fault. The cassock is amazing. The quality compared to the price paid is phenomenal. I received so many compliments, and felt wonderful wearing it.
I was very impressed with the quality of the surplice and PSG's ability to customize as I requested. So far I have been very impressed with everything I've received.
Purchased a Deacon Pentecost stole. It is a very solid product although expensive if you live in Canada shipping and taxes is almost as much as the stole was
They look great in the picture but the quality is not there. Cheating in advertising as if they are made in America. In actual facts they are made in India. I requested a sample of material - they provided me with good cotton sample and when my order was delivered it was polyester- waste of money. Our Fathers at church would not use them as they do not absorb the water when using the Lavabo towels or wipe the chalice.
Try another honest place.
These are not zuchettos. They are way too long and you have to have a pointed head for them to fit. I'm having them recut here in the United States since the are over two inches too long!
